How ya going? I'm Mike Jae from Canada. I've ventured forth on planes, trains, buses, ferries, boats, and in the back of pickup trucks around the world for 3 years. Over my voyages I've tried the local beer in over 30 countries, learned to say cheers in 13 languages, been robbed 4 times (including having everything I own stolen), spent 3 months in Spanish schools all over Latin America, ate a lot of strange delicious food, climbed a few volcanoes, seriously upped my surfing abilities, met a few thousand people and well, there's more. I created this blog to share my knowledge and experience to help you discover interesting new destinations. I also want to explain the benefits of minimal travel because less stuff you have with you, the freer you will be. Furthermore, I want to share what it takes to pick up the Spanish language from somebody who started at 28 years old knowing nothing. Learning golf is probably easier.
